Privacy Policy

Dawid Szczuaszek trading as DS Digital Solutions is responsible for deciding how personal information described in this policy is used. This policy explains the information we handle when you enquire, subscribe, use a customer portal or interact with an NFC review card.

Information we may collect

Your name, business name, email address and telephone number;
Enquiry messages, project requirements, supplied content and communications;
Stripe customer, checkout and subscription identifiers;
Payment and subscription status, billing dates and limited transaction information;
Customer portal account and business-card information;
Website usage, cookie preferences and analytics information; and
Limited technical and interaction information described under NFC analytics below.

Payment information and Stripe

Managed-service subscription payments are entered and processed on Stripe-hosted checkout. The website design/development price is agreed separately. DS Digital Solutions does not directly collect or store your complete card number or card security code. Stripe provides us with limited information needed to administer the subscription, such as customer and subscription identifiers, payment status and transaction references.

Stripe acts as a payment processor and also handles information under its own privacy practices. You can read Stripe’s Privacy Policy.

Why we use information

We use information where necessary to:

Respond to enquiries and take steps requested before entering a contract;
Create, manage and perform website, hosting, domain and support agreements;
Administer subscriptions, payments, customer accounts and cancellations;
Provide DS Review Hub and NFC analytics;
Keep services secure, prevent misuse and resolve technical problems;
Maintain appropriate business, tax and transaction records;
Improve our services where this is compatible with your rights; and
Use optional analytics cookies where you have given consent.

Depending on the situation, our reason for processing is performing or preparing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, pursuing legitimate business interests that do not override your rights, or your consent.

Cookies and analytics

We store your cookie preference so the banner does not appear on every visit. Optional Google Analytics storage is denied unless you select “Accept.” Analytics may provide aggregated and device-level usage information that helps us understand how the website is used. It should not be treated as necessarily anonymous.

You can review the cookies and storage currently used, their purposes and durations in our Cookie Policy. Use the “Cookie settings” control in the site footer to change or withdraw analytics consent, or clear the site’s storage through your browser.

Who information may be shared with

We do not sell personal information. We may share only what is reasonably necessary with service providers supporting the service, including:

Stripe for hosted checkout, billing and subscription management;
Hosting, backup, security and infrastructure providers;
Domain registrars and DNS providers;
Email and business communication providers;
Google Analytics where analytics consent has been given; and
Professional advisers, regulators or authorities where reasonably necessary or legally required.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where relevant, we rely on the safeguards and contractual arrangements made available by those providers.

How long information is kept

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected. Enquiry information is kept while an opportunity is active and for a reasonable follow-up period. Customer, subscription and transaction records may be kept after the service ends where needed for accounting, tax, dispute and legal record-keeping obligations.

Website files and backups may be retained temporarily to provide the service, complete a transfer, restore systems or maintain security, and are then deleted or overwritten according to normal operational schedules.

Security

We use reasonable organisational and technical measures appropriate to a small web-design business, including controlled access, secure authentication, HTTPS and reputable service providers. No internet service can promise absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.

NFC Review Hub analytics

When an NFC review card is tapped, we may record the date and time, the card used, and limited device or browser information. This supplies the associated business with interaction statistics. We do not use this information to identify or contact the person who tapped the card.

Third-party destinations

NFC cards and website links may direct visitors to services such as Google. Information entered on those services is handled under the third party’s own privacy policy and is not controlled by DS Digital Solutions.
